There some  image of  solar panels which was installed at the project, it utilizes  nine  panels  these nine panels generate 2.5 kw of electricity that   will be used to power the invert-er. For this project nine panel was used. 

the panels was connected in parallel which ensure that the voltage remain the same and the current increase the image below shows the solar panels.

The image below shows a schematic diagram of rooftop  PV system  and the sequence  and place of the components. The solar panels are located at the top of the roof its usually place like this in the Caribbean.This is to ensure that the panels are not tempered   with,  when installed  the panel array it is usually place north to south on the roof to capture the sun rotation.

The charge controller regulates the DC voltage from the solar panels and then send a changing voltage to the batteries, the batteries store the electrical voltage and the inverter convert dc voltage to alternating current which can be utilizes in the household.
